A journey from Germany to Ecuador which leads the filmmaker back to his parents. Now an adult, the vegetarian son attempts to solve the financial problems of his father, who is entirely keen on grilled meat. As a peculiar debate on business hours, Excel charts and wholesale prices ensues, it soon becomes clear that it is less about the ailing family business than about the family itself: the examination of unfulfilled expectations, the transition to adulthood and responsibility for one another.
