Pippo Delbono, stage and screen artist, and Giovanni Senzani, former member of the Red Brigades recently released from prison, decide on a project to evoke together their relationship to death, violence, dreams of revolution, and an Italy in ruins. But reality, in the form of death, interrupts their plans. Pippo must hasten to his stricken mother’s bedside. Giovanni’s wife Anna, who waited for him during his 23 years in prison, is also gravely ill. Meanwhile, L’Aquila – the town decimated by the earthquake – is waiting for someone to finally bring it back to life.
