The young director, returns to an Umbrian village, where he spent a part of his childhood. He tries to uncover the secret of a mysterious misadventure, which he experienced one night on the witch’s path. Soon his investigation diverges and he wonders more widely about his relationship to the city and about the reasons for his attachment to it.

Il giovane regista, ritorna a Città della Pieve, cittadina Umbra dove ha passato una parte dell’infanzia. Tenta di chiarire una misteriosa disavventura del passato che gli capitò una notte sul sentiero della strega. Presto però il regista abbandona l’oggetto primo della sua ricerca per interrogarsi sul suo rapporto con la città.
