An opera was written shortly after the signing of the Locarno Pact in 1925, yet was never performed because of the conflict that soon engulfed Europe. The film director found the libretto for this “Friedens Oper” written by her great-grandfather, who was not only a gardener at the Monte Verità but also a political visionary.
Un'opera lirica concepita in seguito al Patto di Locarno nel 1925: un libretto che non ha mai trovato una sua rappresentazione causa dei conflitti scoppiati a breve. A scrivere "Friedens Oper" fu il bisnonno della regista, sognate giardiniere del Monte Verità, che ha lasciato in eredità il testo da mettere in scena.
