The result of a visual training workshop of HEAD-Geneva with Naomi Kawase in Japan, the film was shot in a region whose culture is strongly influenced by Shintoism. The worship of nature as a fully-fledged living being permeates the narrative in which a lumberjack cuts down a tree, begging its forgiveness, while villagers plant another to restore the balance of nature.
