An “anatomy of the ephemeral” in the guise of an audiovisual paraphrase which attempts to capture the grandeur of the Sixth Symphony, which Mahler himself named “tragic”. “The song of the ephemeral”, a visual tetralogy analogous to the four movements of the Mahler work, depicting human frailty and vanity, loneliness and despair, melancholy and sadness on a large-scale canvas.
