Adieu, plancher des vaches
Fiction, 118 min.
Coproduction with foreign director
| Title E: | Farewell, Home Sweet Home |
by Otar Iosseliani
France / Switzerland / Italy, May 1999
The rich like to think of the poor as happy, carefree people surrounded by true friends. The poor on the other hand are convinced that the rich can really enjoy life, eating and drinking whatever and whenever they like, …loved by beautiful women. In this game of musical chairs the two camps swap places so that each can see how wrong it has been. For the fact is that, rich or poor, there is very little difference – life remains a vale of tears. Perfect ingredients for a comedy, n’est-ce pas?
