Out of Competition: new important works by directors already present in past editions of the festival, 35mm or 70mm. Orizzonti section: a competitive selection of films representing the latest trends and components of contemporary cinema. The Orizzonti section contains a selection of competing short films of a maximum duration of 20 minutes. World or international premiere. Orrizonti awards: Best Film, Jury Prize, Best Short Film. Special Events. Mezzanotte: Spectacular and innovative works, full-length feature films, 35mm or 70 mm. Venezia Digitale: feature-length films made using digital technology. International Critics’ Week: 7 first feature films selected by a Committee appointed by the National Association of Italian Film Critics (SNCCI). A-Festival FIAPF. Industry Office -Venice Screenings: market club, business centre and screening facilities to producers and international sales companies.
