Elena Madrid
Biography
Born in 1967 in St. Gallen. Spanish citizenship. 1988-93 Trains and works as graphic designer. 1993-95 Attends preparatory course at the SfG (Schule für Gestaltung) Lucerne. 1995-98 Studies Graphic Arts at the Gestaltungsschule Material und Form in Lucerne. Since 1998 works as independent illustrator. Since 1999 independent animation filmmaker. 2002 Founds fragola design, atelier for illustration, animation film and graphic design. 2007 Lectures at the ETH (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology) Zurich.
