Born in 1962 in Basel, Switzerland. Studied Ethnology, History and Economics at the University of Basel and University of Vienna. Editor at German Swiss Broadcasting Service (SF). Reporter and correspondent in Germany, France and Great Britain. Chief editor, n-tv Berlin. 1999 Founder of Lava Productions AG. Producer of various television programs. Since 1993 frequent author for NZZ Television.
