Biography
Born in 1955 in Baghdad, Iraq. Attended the Schule für Gestaltung in Zurich. Apprenticeship as a typographer. Trains as a cameraman. Since 1983 independent director and cameraman. In the 1990s works for German stations as a director of television series and films. 1994 Cofounding of Dschoint Ventschr Filmproduktion and producer. 1998 Swiss Film Prize, Best Short Film for “Angélique”.
