Swiss filmmaking will be honoured and celebrated in the KKL Luzern on March 12, 2011. Prominent figures on the cultural and political scene will present the Swiss Film Prize «Quartz» to the best in nine respective categories. The highlight of the gala event is the award for Best Fiction Film, presented this year by Federal Councillor Doris Leuthard. This year’s honorary award will go to Swiss film producer Marcel Hoehn.

The stars in the world of Swiss film and numerous figures from culture, politics and business will walk the red carpet at the KKL Luzern, beginning at 5 pm on March 12, where interested film aficionados can encounter the prominent guests up close.
