Since 2010, the Swiss Perspective programme has been an integral part of the Doc Buenos Aires Film Festival, one of Latin America’s most important platforms for documentary films.

Since 2010, the Swiss Perspective programme has been an integral part of the Doc Buenos Aires Film Festival, one of Latin America’s most important platforms for documentary films. The programme is part of the collaboration between the festival and SWISS FILMS. This year three multi-award-winning documentary films will be screened in the programme (Swiss Perspective: The Labors And The Days - Figures in a Landscape): My Name Is Salt (2013) by Farida Pacha; Fog (2014) by Nicole Vögele; and Black Board (2013) by Yves Yersin. In addition, Arami Ullon will attend the festival in Buenos Aires to present her debut film Cloudy Times (2014) in the Status Of Latin American Documentary section.

Further Swiss films screened this year in Buenos Aires are: L’escale (2013) by Kaveh Bakhtiari in The Young Guard / Young Blood programme, and Richard Dindo’s Ernesto Che Guevara: le journal de Bolivie (1994) in the Homage to Les films d'ici, 30 Years Of Creation (1984-2014).
