The Swiss cineaste Anne-Marie Miéville is the focus of the “L’Alternativa Paralleles” section at the 21st edition of the L’Alternativa, Barcelona Independent Film Festival. Nine fiction films by Anne-Marie Miéville from the years 1984 to 2000 will be presented from November 17-23.
In collaboration with SWISS FILMS, the award-winning documentary films “Father's Garden – The Love Of My Parents” (2013) by Peter Liechti and Sophie Huber’s “Harry Dean Stanton – Partly Fiction” (2012) will also be screened in Barcelona.
A comprehensive Alain Tanner retrospective presented by the “Filmoteca de Catalunya Barcelona” received a great deal of public interest in September. The 26 screenings were attended by a total of 2261 viewers, amounting to an average of 87 viewers per screening.
