Corina Schwingruber Ilić with ALL INCLUSIVE in Short Film Competition in Venice

In ALL INCLUSIVE, Corina Schwingruber Ilić, from Lucerne, has impressively captured the countless entertainment offerings on cruise trips and the sea-faring experience to great effect. The documentary film portrays the absurdness of our consumer society: a workout on the sundeck, dancing a polonaise through the dining hall, a photo shoot with the captain or a beauty contest for both young and old. The film was produced by Stella Händler, Freihändler Filmproduktion, with Nikola Ilić behind the camera and the soundtrack by Heidi Happy. ALL INCLUSIVE won the Postproduction Prize at the Internationale Kurzfilmtage Winterthur 2017.

Award-winning Swiss filmmaker Corina Schwingruber Ilić (*1981) lives and works in Lucerne and Belgrade. She studied at the FNHW Academy of Art and Design, the University of Arts in Belgrade and the Lucerne School of Art and Design. She has worked as an independent filmmaker and editor since 2010 and has shot a number of short documentary films together with Nikola Ilić, many of which have been screened at numerous international festivals and honoured with awards, for example, JUST ANOTHER DAY IN EGYPT (2015) or KOD ĆOŠKA (2013).

Corina Schwingruber Ilić‘s first short film following her studies, BAGGERN (2011), was a festival favourite and was honoured with the Zurich Film Prize, among others. She co-directed her last short documentary film INS HOLZ (2017) with Thomas Horat. The film celebrated its premiere in the International Competition at the renowned Short Film Festival in Clermont-Ferrand, was subsequently screened at many further festivals and garnered multiple awards. Together with Nikola Ilić, she is currently working on her first feature-length documentary film DIDA, which addresses the consequences of migration (production: Franziska Sonder, Dschoint Ventschr). The film is scheduled for completion in 2019.
