The film portrays seven former political prisoners from Palestine who were released after a lengthy prison sentence in Israel at the end of the 90's. They look back on their time in prison and give insight into life thereafter. For many, freedom was a shocking experience compounded by a deep personal crisis. Unemployment, loss of status and difficulties in adapting to new values and the political state of affairs hindered a smooth reintegration.
