Six days out of seven, for eight taxi drivers in several Swiss cities. The city is as familiar to them as an old shoe. They move around in it with the ease of a housewife at home. And they are as ready to take a client no further than the next corner, or all the way to Spain – 3000 km in the middle of the night with nothing more than a coffee in their bellies. In the rearview mirror the clients come and go, one much like another. A few however are different enough to be remembered by these drivers who have “seen it all before”. A brief look at a job that often attracts people of a special breed, in the service of clients who can be just as unconventional.

Delle città sanno tutto, strade e abitudini, si muovono come a casa loro sempre pronti a portare il cliente al primo angolo di strada o in Spagna, di notte, a 3000 km di distanza, con un solo caffé. I clienti, nello specchietto retrovisore, si alternano e si assomigliano tutti, tranne uno ogni tanto, diverso, capace di stupire al punto di essere ricordato da chi, comunque, ne sa una più del diavolo. Un ritratto di questi tassisti, a volte originali, al servizio di una clientela altrettanto sorprendente.
