They still exist: the old inns like Posta veglia in Ardez, which have remained unchanged for decades. Entering one of these inns feels like stepping back in history, when time passed slowly. One feels immediately at home in these inns, which the Romans called «ustaria». There is a very interesting tale behind every inn: a tale of toil and long nights, of merriness and warm-hearted owners.
