“Giorni e nuvole” wins two of the “David di Donatello” Prizes

The Italian-Swiss co-production “Giorni e nuvole” by Silvio Soldini (co-production with Amka Film, Savosa) was honoured with two of the “David di Donatello” Prizes on April 18. Margherita Buy won the award for “Best Actress” and Alba Rohrwacher for “Best Actress in a Supporting Role”. The film “Giorni e nuvole” had been nominated for an award in 15 categories.
The main winner of this year’s “Davide di Donatello” Prizes was Andrea Molaioli’s film “La ragazza del lago”, which won three awards – “Best Film”, “Best Director” and “Best Script” – and was nominated in seven other categories. The selection of film nominations and jury members is under the auspices of the “Accademia del Cinema Italiano”.
