New horizons for “Das Fraulein” in the Far East

The feature film “Das Fraulein” by Andrea Staka (Production: Dschoint Ventschr), which was awarded in Locarno and Sarajevo, will be shown as the only Swiss contribution at the 11th Pusan International Film Festival, taking place from October 12 – 20, 2006. Held in parallel with the Asian Film Market, this festival held in the second-largest South Korean city, counts as one of the most important platforms for distribution of European films in the Far East.
In addition to showing the most recent South Korean productions, the Pusan International Film Festival features a representative selection of high–quality European films. The European Film Promotion organization (EFP), a network of 25 national film promotion agencies, supports the sale efforts of European world-wide distributors at the Asian Film Market in Pusan. At this event, “Das Fraulein” will be represented by the German world sales company Media Luna Entertainment.
