Prize for Swiss short film at “Ecrans Documentaires” in France

The short animated film “Le printemps de Sant Ponç” by David Epiney and Eugenia Mumenthaler won the “Son et Image” prize at the festival “Les Ecrans Documentaires,” which took place in Arceuil near Paris from October 30 – November 4, 2007. The award comes with a prize sum of 1,000 Euro and is bestowed by the “Son et Image” association, which is also the festival organizer.
Over the course of one month, the Geneva short film “Le printemps de Sant Ponç” won four festival prizes: at AniMadrid (Spain), and in Valdivia (Chile), Szolnok (Hungary), Arceuil (France). At last year’s event, “Premier Geste” took part in the competition along with 24 short and long films. The festival was founded in 1997.
