The film “The Turin Horse” by Hungarian cineaste Béla Tarr, coproduced by Ruth Waldburger (Vega Film, Zurich), was honoured with the Jury Grand Prix at the closing of the 61st Berlinale (February 10-20, 2011).

The film "The Turin Horse" by Hungarian cineaste Béla Tarr, coproduced by Ruth Waldburger (Vega Film, Zurich), was honoured with the Jury Grand Prix at the closing of the 61st Berlinale (February 10-20, 2011). The FIPRESCI Prize of the International Film Critics Association also went to this nearly three-hour essay film, a stately black-and-white production with long takes depicting the end of the world.
