26.07.2007

Swiss short film production has achieved yet another international success. The short film “Dans la peau” by Zoltán Horvath was selected to be part of the festival competition at the 64th Mostra Internazionale d’Arte Cinematografica in Venice (August 29 – September 8, 2007). The latest work by Geneva resident Zoltán Horvath will compete along with 18 additional short films in the Corto Cortissimo section where it also celebrates its international premiere. The film is in the running for the Golden Lion for Best Short Film and the Prix UIP for the European Film Prize.
In the eleven-minute-long short film, tattoos on the bodies of two lovers are coming to life. The combination of real footage and animations make this film a masterpiece of high originality. Director Zoltán Horvath, who is also known for his earlier short films (“Carcasses et crustacés” and “Nosfératu Tango”), will be in attendance in Venice to present his film.
