Two Swiss documentary films in Warsaw

At the Planete Doc Review, taking place in Warsaw for the fourth time from May 11 – 20, 2007, two films by the Zurich production company “maximage” will be shown: Stefan Schwietert’s film “Heimatklänge/Echoes of Home”, which previously won two awards in Berlin, will be screened as part of the “Fetish & Culture” program, and it also participates in the competition for the Millenium Award. The film “Someone Beside You” by Edgar Hagen will be shown in the “Quo Vadis?” program.
The Planete Doc Review festival was founded in 2005, and it presents 47 documentary films from around the world in 9 thematic blocks. 17 productions are in the running for the Millenium Award. The award comes with a prize sum of 5,000 Euro and will be bestowed by a five-member international jury.
