“When The Right One Comes Along” wins prize in Dhaka

The feature film debut “When The Right One Comes Along” by co-directors Oliver Paulus (Switzerland) and Stefan Hillebrand (Germany) has won an additional prize: It recently received the audience award at the 9th Dhaka International Film Festival, which took place from January 17 – 25 in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
So far, the Swiss-German co-production has been invited to nearly 35 international festivals (official selections), among them Mannheim-Heidelberg, San Francisco, Montevideo, Los Angeles, Seattle, Jerusalem, Setubal (Portugal), Minsk, and Bangkok. It received several awards for direction and acting, and was released in movie theatres in both Germany (Distribution: Kool Filmdistribution) and Switzerland (Distribution: Look Now!). In February 2006, it will be for sale in DVD format along with extensive bonus materials, including the short film “Die Wurstverkäuferin” (“The Butcher’s Bride”) by Stefan Hillebrand and Oliver Paulus.
