D'une jungle à l'autre
TV series, Documentary, 6 x 35 min.
by Raymond Vouillamoz
Switzerland, April 2012
Six mentally ill patients from Western Switzerland embark on a unique journey in the heart of the Amazon rainforest. Accompanied by a psychiatrist and three male nurses, the participants undertake a therapeutic adventure intended to help them overcome their difficulties and regain their confidence. Raymond Vouillamoz accompanied the adventurers for one month with his camera in unspoilt nature as they learned to live in a community again and to deal with confronting the self. Remarkable encounters with the Wayana Indians and the descendants of slaves enable them to confront the spirits of the rainforest with their convictions.
