A thrilling and powerful adventure film about a young German woman, who shows extraordinary moral courage and human responsibility when joining a trek of refugee children crossing the Himalaya. On this hard and life threatening journey she gets into deep contact with the refugee guides and especially the children, leading to intensive and deeply moving friendships. A heart and soul filling journey begins. Soon she has to learn that the barriers on the journey are harder than she could have ever imagined.
