As a young man Nils Jent almost lost his life in a serious motorcycle accident. Following a five-hour emergency operation and an eight-minute cardiac arrest, Nils lapsed into a coma. When he woke from the coma, he discovered that he was paralyzed from head to toe, completely blind and unable to speak. Nils fought back for his life step by step, but not without continually confronting external opposition and his own limits. Thanks to his indomitable willpower and patience, together with his parents’ unconditional support and love, Nils has come ever closer to his goals.
