Swiss presence at the 17th Kolkata International Film Festival

On November 11, “Tandoori Love” by director Oliver Paulus opened the Swiss film programme “Focus Switzerland: Mountains And More” at the 17th Kolkata International Film Festival (November 10-17, 2011). This programme was arranged in collaboration with SWISS FILMS. On the occasion of the screening the Swiss Embassy and the honorary consulate in Kolkata held a cocktail with Oliver Paulus and numerous guests from the Indian film industry. The filmmaker is very enthusiastic about the second oldest film festival in India: “There's probably no other festival in the world, where the public is this crazy about films. As a filmmaker you are treated like a demigod – Kolkata is a paradise for directors!”
