Yaro, jeune sénégalais arrive en Italie avec le rêve d'un Occident riche. Il demande à Demba, son frère cadet, de le rejoindre. Ensemble ils pourront travailler et gagner plus d'argent pour la famille. Deux mois plus tard Yaro est assassiné non loin de la gare centrale de Milan. Demba veut comprendre et savoir qui a assassiné son frère. Avec d'autres amis Demba nous emmène dans un voyage infernal, du brouillard de Milan en passant par les grandes plantations de tomates au Sud de l'Italie.
