Stephan is a young German engineer working in Bucharest, where he installs large offset printing machines and meets and falls in love with Brindisa, 26, the company’s interpreter. They want to marry, but unfortunately Brindisa once had a relationship with her mafiosi boss Nikolai, who now attempts to thwart the couple’s plans at any cost. Her new parents-in-law travel all the way from Germany, full of prejudice towards their future daughter-in-law from Romania. Torn between two men and two different European cultures, Brindisa doesn’t know where she belongs. A dark drama about people’s search for identity in Europe.
