The last images he remembers seeing were a thicket of cane in his grandfather’s kitchen garden, the sun and his father’s eyes. Mirco Mencacci became blind at the age of four and since then, his world has been that of sound which he has managed to turn into a profession. Indeed, he is one of the most highly sought sound designers and sound editors in the Italian . lm industry. The documentary “Le immagini di Mirco” (“Through Mirco’s Eyes”) relates the original journey through life between light and shade, past and present, of a man who was not stopped by his handicap, but who lives it like a transition into another dimension.
