Gabrielle est une sexagénaire antiquaire qui vit pleinement et librement entre ses amis, sa fille Elvire et son métier. L’avis d’expulsion de sa boutique d’un quartier bourgeois de Genève remet en question son avenir professionnel et affectif. Redoutant une retraite affligeante et forcée, elle quitte ses amis, son amant et sa fille pour aller vivre une idylle avec Fred un jeune plasticien de 25 ans d’origine portugaise.
