Une jeune femme revient avec son enfant sur une plage perdue de la côte Pacifique, au sud du Mexique, où elle a grandi. Alors qu’elle vivait avec son père dans une maison au bord de la plage, elle avait dû fuir les lieux après la mort brutale de celui qu’elle aimait, un jeune pêcheur du village voisin. Plusieurs années plus tard, elle revient faire la paix avec ses fantômes.
