Dans la forêt, un prince, arc à la main, pourchasse un écureuil jusqu’à ce que l’animal se retrouve coincé dans les mains d’une princesse. Le prince essaie ensuite d'impressionner cette dernière en tirant ses flèches où elle le désire. Mais l'écureuil met à mal ses plans amoureux...
