Le désir d’enfants oscille aujourd’hui entre un besoin légitime, un instinct primaire individuel, la pression sociale et une décision liée à la mode. Avec beaucoup de compétence et au moyen de photos impressionnantes, le film observe la médecine et l’industrie de la reproduction et jette un œil dans l’éprouvette. Ce faisant, il ne s’agit ni de glorifier ni de stigmatiser la procréation médicalement assistée. Toutefois, on en perçoit à tout moment les implications sociales, politiques et surtout éthiques. Une science-fiction du présent.
