Saint-Péterbourg en 1917: des artistes russes l'année des deux révolutions. Le tsar abdique et tout semble possible. Huit mois, entre la révolution démocratique bourgeoise de février et la prise du pouvoir par les bolchéviques en octobre. Une approche de ces événements, inspirée de l'avant-garde esthétique de cette époque et racontée du point de vue des artistes qui y ont participé; en ce temps-là leurs noms étaient déjà connus dans le monde entier ou le seraient un jour.
