Biography
Geboren 1959 in Düsseldorf (D). Nach langem Südamerikaaufenthalt und Regieassistenzen kurzes Medizin- und Psychologiestudium. Ab 1982 Studium an der HFF (Hochschule für Fernsehen und Film, München). 1992 Stipendiat der Drehbuchwerkstatt München. 1986 Gründung der Philip Gröning Filmproduktion. Lebt in Düsseldorf und Berlin.
Born in 1959 in Düsseldorf, Germany. Following a long stay in South America and works as assistant director. Studies Medicine and Psychology briefly. 1982 Begins studies at HFF (Hochschule für Fernsehen und Film, München). 1992 Receives grant to study screenplay writing in Munich. 1986 Founding of Philip Gröning Filmproduktion. Lives in Düsseldorf and Berlin.
