Geboren 1944 in Bern. Studium der Volkswirtschaft und Soziologie in Berlin, München und St. Gallen (lic. oec. HSG). Assistent von Alexander Kluge am Filminstitut von Ulm und Brunello Rondi in Rom. Seit 1972 Filmschaffender. 1990 Theaterinszenierung in Zürich.
