* 1980. Die Filme von Luka Popadić sind so vielfältig und überraschend wie seine Biografie. Der Schweizer mit serbischen Wurzeln kehrte 2009 in die Heimat seiner Eltern zurück und schloss 2014 sein Masterstudium in Filmregie an der Fakultät für Dramatic Arts in Belgrad ab. Als Regieassistent arbeitete er in Chicago und Berlin, bevor er seine eigenen Filme inszenierte. Nach mehreren preisgekrönten Kurzfilmen ist SWISS CITIZEN SOLDIERS sein erster Dokumentarfilm.
