Miro liebt die junge Schauspielerin Mercedes; wie aber kann er ihre Liebe gewinnen? Ein Missverständnis, welches ihn zu einem berühmten Regisseur macht, kommt ihm da sehr gelegen. Schnell steht sein Entschluss fest: «Einen Film mit Mercedes in der Hauptrolle drehen, dabei ihre Liebe gewinnen und sie dann heiraten!» Miros ebenso einfacher wie verrückter Plan nimmt rasch konkrete Formen an und sogar Amor scheint ihm wohl gesonnen. Doch es gibt auch ein kleines Problem: Peter und Luigi.
Miro è innamorato di una giovane attrice, Mercedes. Ma come conquistare il suo amore? Un malinteso, che fa di lui un celebre regista, gli torna molto comodo. La sua decisione è presto presa: «Girare un film con Mercedes nel ruolo principale, conquistarne l’amore e quindi sposarla!». Il piano di Miro, semplice quanto folle, si concretizza rapidamente e anche Cupido sembra bene intenzionato nei suoi confronti. C’è però un piccolo problema: Peter e Luigi.
