Born in Nyon in 1998, Yoann Roig developed a passion for audiovisual arts at the age of 10 and embarked on his journey into fictional filmmaking with his debut short film "Ryan" (2016), written and performed by Eros Macchia. This short film laid the foundation for the key characters in the feature film "Le Sens du Chaos," which they would later create together. Soon after, he began studying Film Design at the Eracom Higher School. In parallel, he directed "Brotherhood Spirit: A Parkour Film" (2018), a full-length documentary, acquired by Tataki (RTS), and adapted into a web series in 2019.

He graduated with a degree in Film Design from ERACOM in 2020 and continued his education by participating in actor directing workshops (Fonction: Cinema, Véronique Ruggia), writing residencies (Groupe Ouest, LIM), and taking acting classes at Espace Mont-Blanc in Lausanne. Concurrently, he directed two short films, "The Path of Silence" and "Dissonance." Both films were selected for various international festivals.

Between 2019 and 2021, he worked for Altamont Production as an editor and film technician. He later established himself as an independent director and videographer. Since 2021, he has been working on his debut feature film, "Le Sens du Chaos," which is currently in post-production.
