Born in 1981 in Berlin, Germany. German citizenship. 2007 BA in Visual Communications from Gerrit Rietveld Akademie in Amsterdam. Since 2009 lives and works in Lucerne. 2011 MA in Design, Major Animage from HSLU (Hochschule Luzern, Design & Kunst). Her Master project animation film THE LITTLE
BIRD AND THE LEAF (2012), premiered at the Berlinale. The three follow-up films of the Little Bird were also selected for the Berlinale. THE LITTLE BIRD AND THE CATERPILLAR (2017) won the Golden Sparrow in 2018. Her animated films have been shown at numerous festivals and won awards in Sapporo, Hiroshima, Ottawa and La Bourboule, among others. POND (2023) was made in collaboration with the illustrator Eva Rust and premiered at the Berlinale.
