The elder vintner Jean is being replaced by the young wine expert Luc who’s indifferent to traditional wine production. By renewing the wine-growing and concentrating on sales numbers, Luc both offends and humiliates the old wine grower and expels him gradually. When realizing that also the boss doesn’t support his ideas any more, Jean decides to leave the wine château but not without taking revenge. But his plan fails and things take an unexpected turn.
