Born in 1971 in Zurich, Switzerland. Joint Swiss and Hungarian citizenship. She studied acting in Budapest and sociology and film studies at the University of Zurich. She went on to study film at Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK). Her graduation film BLUSH (1999) won several awards and her feature film debut THE TWO OF US (2010) was awarded the Zurich Film Prize. In 2017 she received the Television Film Award of the German Academy of Performing Arts for her TV feature film TORN. She lives in Zurich and works in Switzerland and Germany.
