La vie de Théo, un jeune docker croupissant dans son port natal, s’écoule au rythme monotone des bateaux de marchandises allants et venants. À travers sa rencontre avec Giuseppe, un marin désabusé de passage, Théo puisera en lui le courage d’affronter les vagues afin d’échapper à sa morne existence en tentant d’intégrer l’équipage bourru de Giuseppe.
