Né en 1988 à Jaffna (Sri Lanka). Il est arrivé en Suisse en tant que réfugié en 2009. Diplômé en communication visuelle (2016) et a obtenu son Bachelor en cinéma à l'ECAL en 2021. Son film de diplôme, DOOSRA (2021), a reçu le prix Upcoming Talent aux Journées de Soleure, le prix du public pour le Meilleur film de Diplôme en Europe aux Premiers Plans d'Angers et a été nommé au Prix du Cinéma Suisse 2022 pour Meilleur film de diplôme. LE GAP est son prochain court-métrage de fiction. Son premier projet de long-métrage documentaire est en développement.
