L’artiste Noga embarque ses deux fils, eux aussi artistes, pour une tournée au Kansai (Japon), dix ans après la mort de son mari. Ils créent une performance avec une danseuse et un calligraphe japonais. Entre scène et hors scène, la caméra capte répétitions, spectacles, l’intimité, les rencontres et le quotidien. Traversée d’une mère face au temps, d’une créatrice qui cherche à l’apprivoiser : une ode lumineuse à la vie.
