Un jeune garçon part, le temps d’un week-end avec son père, à la découverte du plus grand barrage d’Europe. Débute alors un voyage promis depuis longtemps. Mais au fil de ce périple remontent les failles de leur relation et les fractures d'une famille explosée. Le barrage auquel ils finissent par s’attaquer n’est pas celui initialement rêvé.
