Mitholz, un village de l'Oberland bernois, a été détruit en 1947 par l'explosion d'un dépôt de munitions de l'armée suisse. Après des décennies de secret, la population apprend en 2018 que le danger n'est pas écarté. Elle doit maintenant quitter sa patrie. Une histoire d'abus de confiance et de défaillances de l'Etat, dont la population paie le prix.
